The Challenge

Unlimited Connections helps businesses grow by facilitating meaningful connections. They run a range of networking and promotional events across the South of England, and make personal introductions for business owners.

The pandemic hit the networking world hard. Events either moved online or closed altogether, and business owners lost many of their opportunities to connect. Once restrictions lifted, it was critical for Unlimited Connections to become visible again, rebuild audience engagement and grow event turnout.

The business had a strong foundation and a compelling mission, but there were gaps in its marketing approach. They came to us for a robust, targeted marketing strategy that would raise their visibility, engage their audience and drive growth. Their goals were twofold:

  • Attendance and awareness: Significantly increase event attendance and brand awareness through cohesive digital and offline campaigns tailored to regional business communities.

  • Value for members: Create networking opportunities that connect entrepreneurs, encourage collaboration, and provide the resources and inspiration needed for sustainable business success.

The Solution

We developed a clear, actionable marketing strategy tailored specifically to Unlimited Connections’ audience, then supported the team to put it into practice.

1. A Strategy Built to Be Used

The plan was designed to be easy to implement and highly targeted, ensuring maximum impact without overwhelming internal resources. At its heart was a blend of social media and email marketing, chosen for their cost effectiveness, scalability and ability to engage the local business community directly.

2. Content, Campaigns and Design

By keeping in regular contact with the Unlimited Connections team, we supported the creation, scheduling and execution of their content. This included:

  • Email: Targeted campaigns promoting upcoming events.

  • Social media: Graphics and content with consistent messaging across their chosen platforms.

  • Print: Banners and business cards for events and networking.

3. Extending the Partnership: White Label Strategy

As our relationship deepened, Unlimited Connections asked us to provide a white label marketing strategy service to their own customers. This gives their members access to professional marketing support, and helps Unlimited Connections grow alongside the businesses they serve.

4. Coming Back for a Fresh Look: 2026 Review and Plan

Earlier this year, Unlimited Connections came back to us for a fresh look at their marketing. The business had grown and evolved, and they wanted a clear plan for the year ahead. We approached it in three stages:

  • Marketing review: A complete audit of their website, search visibility, social media, email and brand, giving an honest snapshot of what was working and where the opportunities were.

  • Strategy meeting: A session with Clare and the team to define her ideal clients, mission and USPs, so every piece of marketing points in the same direction.

  • Marketing plan: A practical, month by month plan for the year, built from those findings.

The Results

With consistent messaging across social media and a planned approach to email campaigns, Unlimited Connections has successfully positioned itself as a central hub for small business networking and community building across the South of England.

The 2026 marketing plan now gives them a clear roadmap for the year ahead, with a consistent brand, a steady flow of content that shows Clare’s expertise, and simple ways for new contacts to attend an event, visit the website or book a discovery call.

“I have enjoyed working with Sarah and her team over the past couple of years. She is highly personable, professional and brilliant at representing my ideas and plans. I would have no hesitation in recommending her work.”

-  Clare Gillbanks, Unlimited Connections

By pairing a practical strategy with hands-on support for content, email and design, we helped Unlimited Connections become visible again after the pandemic. Years on, we are still the team they come back to when it is time to plan what comes next, giving them the space to focus on what they do best: bringing business owners together.
